Youth & Children

Adjacent to music youth and children are also my passion. I currently work in both capacities both in and outside of the church. I have for a number of years taught children and mentored youth. I’ve served as coordinator of SJBC children’s choir as well as a facilitator for Victorious Disciples Kids for three years. Apart from the church I try to extend myself as often as I can by leading Junior Achievement and acting as a participant in Career Day in the public school system with a desire of imparting hope and inspiration into our next generation. Being called to the ministry of youth and children in November 2010, God has given me the vision to establish a youth center that will be Christ based and one that will minister to children of all ages especially to those who are non-believers. In the interim I will continue to educate myself in this area to be better prepared for when that time comes.

 

 

 

Mentoring Program

Under construction and soon to be launched is a one on one mentoring program that God has given me a vision to implement. This program will target girls ages six through twelve years old and will be designed to grasp the importance of having a relationship with God backed with foundational basic biblical truths and principles. The program will teach self-love and respect, will teach love and respect for their peers, will teach love and respect for their parents and will teach the importance of respecting people of authority. This program will help young girls discover and cultivate their spiritual gifts as well as help them develop the essence of being godly women at an early age. This will be a Non-Profit Organization.

 

 

In Addition

Other ministries that will be incorporated with the music ministry will include speaking at Women and Youth Conferences and also to minister in song is some aspect to the elderly in nursing homes that are often forgotten, rehabilitation and juvenile centers, prisons, and children hospitals.

 

Within the next year my plans are to enroll in Seminary and to publish my first two books that I am currently writing.
